We stayed 3 nights at the Hansa in July 2010. The staff were super enthusiastic and the room spacious and clean; there was a splendid breakfast buffet with ample selection for us as vegetarians. We would definitely stay again!

We stopped over in Herford on our way home from Berlin. It was a pleasant surprise to be in a such a wonderful city and to stay in such a lovely hotel.
The staff was extremely child friendly and helpful.
The most important thing, I found is that there was a personal touch in the services you got.
It was a pity that we couldn't stay longer, but we will surely come back again.

Bei unserem letzten Besuch in Ihrem Hause haben wir uns wieder einmal sehr wohl gefuehlt. Es stimmte alles, vom Fruehstueck bis zum Service war alles nur super.

We were made very welcome. Rooms very comfortable and large for a hotel. The location was perfect for the town and it had a car park which some hotels did not have. The manager was extremely helpful and opened up early for breakfast so that we could have breakfast before we left.
We will definitely stay there again and recommend it highly.

Immaculate rooms; unbeatable location for lodgings and parking in the centre of town and the management and staff are the soul of friendly, professional and discreet hospitality. I'll miss the breakfast including, frankly, the best coffee in Germany.

Recently spent two weeks at the Hotel Hansa. Couldn't have had a better hotel experience. Room always clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast perfect. Center of town. Would do it again in a wink.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel!
Zentrale Lage, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und ein außerordentlich freundlicher Service mit klasse Tips für den Stadtaufenthalt. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

große und saubere zimmer, gutes frühstück und einen super Service! das empfohlene restaurant war einfach klasse.

We stayed at the Hotel Hansa 8-18 May 2009. We had a great time. The Hotel is centrally placed in Herford and is very well run by its caring owners and staff. They were all so nice and helpful. We really did enjoy being in Herford again - what a lovely city it is!

If you want to visit Herford, we would recommend it, but if you do, stay at the Hotel Hansa!
